Job Description
Administrative Assistant position covering a number of functions including phone reception, scheduling, scanning, working with clients on paperwork and copying/assembly of tax returns. Strong to excellent knowledge and use of MS Office including Word, Excel is required.
Between January 1 and April 15, the hours may increase and Saturday work will be required. At least one full year of administrative experience in an office is required.
Desired Skills and Prior Experience:
- Hands on experience as an Admin documented on the resume
- Strong computer skills
- Strong accuracy level
- High attention to detail
- Ability to balance and prioritize workflow with minimal supervision
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a fast paced environment
- Ability to manage a large volume of documents and accurately populate those documents into our electronic database
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to clients and staff in an efficient and effective manner
- Reliable and punctual
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must have good phone etiquette and excellent customer service skills
- Prior use of an electronic database preferred but not required
- Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed during tax season.
