Delivery Driver

Gaithersburg Architectural Millwork, a high-end architectural millwork firm is seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver (non-CDL) to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering packages and goods to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company delivery trucks to transport millwork products to job sites and clients.

• Pick-Up and Deliver to Vendor sites.

• Must assist with warehouse tasks, including organizing inventory, receiving shipments, and preparing orders when deliveries are slow.

• Perform routine vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.

• Communicate with dispatch and customers to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and delivery vehicles.

• Assist with packaging and securing materials for safe transport.

• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

• Must pass the DOT requirements.

• Experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or logistics (millwork or construction industry a plus).

• Comfortable driving large box trucks in and around the DMV area.

• Regional and long haul driving along the east coast. Not typically more than a few hours outside the region.

• Ability to operate a delivery vehicle in a safe and responsible manner

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Strong attention to detail, time management and safety protocols.

• Ability to lift and carry packages and goods up to 75 pounds.

• Must be able to work varying schedules and overtime.
