As a **Security Officer - Logistics Entry Screener** in **Manassas, VA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access points and verifying credentials. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the facility, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as directed.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
+ Perform screening of individuals, vehicles, and/or packages as required to help to deter prohibited items from entering the location.
+ Monitor and report any security-related concerns or unusual activities to the appropriate personnel.
+ Maintain accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by site procedures.
+ Assist with access control by verifying identification and managing entry points according to site protocols.
+ Support Allied Universal and client staff by providing information and assistance as needed during routine operations and/or emergency situations.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
