Regency at Dominion Valley is looking for a skilled and dependable Cook to support both our restaurant and banquet operations. Compensation : $17.00 - $19.00 / hr. Part Time and Full Time available
What You'll Be Doing :
As a Cook, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for both daily service and special events. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing food items according to recipes, production needs, and quality standards
- Assisting with both à la carte restaurant service and banquet production
- Prepping ingredients ahead of service while minimizing waste
- Maintaining proper food labeling, dating, rotation, and storage practices
- Setting up your station based on pars and anticipated business levels
- Monitoring inventory and communicating shortages or needs
- Receiving and properly storing deliveries from vendors
- Supporting food cost control by reducing waste and following standards
- Assisting with monthly inventory and food audits
- Helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
- Pitching in wherever needed—including supporting our banquets and events
What We're Looking For :
- At least 2 years of kitchen or restaurant experience
- Ability to work across multiple service styles (restaurant + banquets)
- Strong work ethic and reliability (transportation required)
- A team player who communicates clearly and works well under pressure
- Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to food safety standards
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be 18 years or older
