RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and execute IT General Controls (ITGC) testing, risk assessments, walkthroughs, and compliance activities related to SOX requirements.
• Evaluate control effectiveness, identify risks, and support remediation efforts to strengthen the overall control environment.
• Conduct and manage risk-based IT audits covering cybersecurity, data privacy, ERP systems, cloud environments, infrastructure, and technology governance.
• Develop audit programs aligned with recognized frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and COBIT.
• Utilize data analytics, automation tools, and reporting platforms to improve audit efficiency and provide actionable insights.
• Prepare clear and concise audit reports for leadership, translating technical findings into business-focused recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, controls, and risk management practices.
• Mentor and support junior audit professionals while contributing to audit methodology enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in developing strategies that increase external auditor reliance and improve overall audit effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in IT audit, internal audit, risk management, compliance, or public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGCs), SOX compliance, and technology risk frameworks.
• Experience leading audits, projects, or audit workstreams.
• Hands-on experience with ERP platforms, particularly SAP, preferred.
• Experience working with SQL, reporting tools, and data analytics solutions.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, cloud technologies, IT governance, and system implementation controls.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CPA, CISSP, or CIA are preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
