Geotechnical Engineer

Our client is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to support a wide range of site investigation, design, and construction support efforts. This role offers exposure to diverse project types and responsibilities, making it ideal for an engineer who wants hands-on experience, technical variety, and long-term career stability within a close-knit team.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical investigations including soil borings, field observations, and laboratory review

• Prepare geotechnical reports, recommendations, and construction support documentation

• Support construction materials testing activities and review test results for compliance

• Coordinate with project stakeholders including contractors, inspectors, and internal team members

• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and technical problem-solving across multiple project types

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering

• EIT required; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred

• Construction materials testing experience required

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, GEO5, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Strong technical writing, organizational, and communication skills

• PMP certification is a plus but not required.
