Job Summary
Community coach and community engagement program manager, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities or special needs. You will provide compassionate care and support, assisting individuals in their daily activities while promoting independence and dignity. Focusing on fostering relationships and building a strong sense of community. This position requires a commitment to understanding the unique needs of each individual, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Duties

• Engage individuals in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and personal development.
• Focus on fostering relationships and building a strong sense of community, within the program.
• Working on goals and skill building activities to enhance communication and social skills.
• Engage individuals in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and personal development.
• Maintain accurate records by completing ISPs and quarterly reports.
• Be able to lead have management skills and know how to create an activity schedule

Requirements

• Knowledge of monitoring techniques and observation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and empathy when working with individuals with disabilities.
• A commitment to ongoing training and professional development in the field of direct support.
• Proven experience in community outreach, coaching, or facilitation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• MUST be able to do ISPs and Quarterly Reports
• Have a valid driver’s license
