What You'll Be Responsible For

As our Activities Director, you'll lead a vibrant recreation program that enhances the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing engaging daily, weekly, and seasonal activity programs.

• Planning special events, entertainment, holiday celebrations, educational opportunities, and community outings.

• Developing individualized activity plans based on each resident's interests and abilities.

• Encouraging resident participation while creating an inclusive and welcoming environment.

• Building relationships with residents, families, volunteers, and community organizations.

• Managing the department's activity calendar, supplies, and budget.

• Maintaining documentation and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Working closely with nursing, therapy, social services, and dietary teams to provide a well-rounded resident experience.

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Has previous experience leading activities or life enrichment programs in a Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, Assisted Living, Memory Care, or healthcare setting.

• Is energetic, creative, organized, and self-motivated.

• Enjoys connecting with older adults and creating meaningful experiences.

• Possesses excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Is a Certified Activity Director or is willing to obtain certification.
