Join the American Trucking Group team as a Regional Dry Van Driver in Newport News! If you’re a CDL-A driver looking for an OTR position that provides weekly home time and minimal physical demands, we have an excellent opportunity for you.

Home Time:

• Be home every week for a 34-hour reset.
• Our OTR routes are structured to provide steady miles while allowing for family and personal commitments.

Equipment:

• Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks.
• All trucks come equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for heating and cooling comfort.
• You can take your assigned truck and trailer home if safe parking is available.

No Touch Freight:

• Primarily handle dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations.
• Engage in minimal physical work, allowing you to concentrate on driving and maximizing efficiency.

Pay and Miles:

• Earnings average between $1,200 and $1,600 weekly based on mileage and performance.
• Additional compensation includes detention pay based on customer policies, $12 per hour layover pay after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free performance.

Running Area:

• Routes cover Virginia and surrounding areas. All tolls covered with EZ Pass and toll cards.
