Role Overview: Medical Director — Warrenton, VAThis Medical Director role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced physician to provide clinical leadership, elevate standards of care, and support operational excellence across post‑acute facilities in the Warrenton area. The successful candidate will work closely with facility leadership and multidisciplinary teams to improve clinical outcomes, ensure regulatory compliance, and champion person‑centered care.

Provide strategic clinical leadership and direction for physicians and advanced practice clinicians
Oversee delivery of high‑quality, person‑centered care within post‑acute and long‑term care settings
Collaborate with nursing and facility leadership to develop and implement care plans, policies and quality improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with federal, state and facility regulations and standards of care
Lead clinical education, mentorship and performance review activities for medical staff
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, case review and family conferences as required
Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for accurate documentation, data review and clinical decision‑making
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Geriatric Medicine preferred
Active and unrestricted Virginia medical license and current DEA registration
Proven experience in a leadership or medical director role within post‑acute, long‑term care or similar healthcare settings preferred
Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills
Commitment to compassionate, patient‑centered care and continuous quality improvement
Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record systems and clinical documentation
