Pay: $20 per hour
Location: DC, MD, VA

Key Responsibilities:

Resident and Prospective Tenant Engagement

• - Greet prospective residents warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression.
• - Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing accurate and detailed information about the property, floor plans, amenities, and leasing terms.

Property Tours and Demonstrations

• - Conduct detailed and engaging tours of available units, highlighting features and benefits tailored to each prospect’s needs.
• - Address questions and objections effectively, building rapport and trust.

Leasing and Application Process Management

• - Assist prospective tenants with the application process, collecting necessary documentation, and explaining leasing terms clearly.
• - Review and process rental applications promptly, including background and credit checks, ensuring compliance with company policies and fair housing laws.
• - Prepare and execute lease agreements with new tenants, ensuring all documents are accurate and complete.

Marketing and Lead Generation

• - Promote property features through various channels, including social media, signage, and community events.
• - Follow up with leads and previous inquiries to maximize occupancy and occupancy rates.

Resident Relations and Community Engagement

• - Assist current residents with lease renewals, maintenance requests, and community events to foster a positive living environment.
• - Address resident concerns professionally and efficiently, escalating issues as necessary.

Administrative Duties

• - Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities, prospect interactions, and applications.
• - Contribute to reports on occupancy rates, leasing activity, and market feedback.

Qualifications:

• - Excellent communication and customer service skills
• - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• - Previous leasing, sales, or customer service experience is a plus but not required
• - Knowledge of fair housing laws and leasing regulations is a plus
• - Professional appearance and attitude
