Step into a dynamic role serving middle school students in a contract position dedicated to supporting communication and language development. This assignment offers a meaningful opportunity spanning from August 17, 2026, through June 10, 2027, with a caseload of approximately 55 students across 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. You’ll work 37.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, in a collaborative educational environment that values professional growth.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
• Prior experience or strong interest in school-based therapy for middle school-aged children
• Familiarity with teletherapy delivery models—hybrid or fully virtual experience is a plus
• Well-versed in IEP development, progress monitoring, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to effectively manage a caseload of approximately 55 students with diverse speech and language needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to middle school students
• Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and document progress according to school standards
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support students’ academic and social success
• Deliver therapy both in-person and remotely, utilizing technology for telepractice as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings, maintain records, and communicate student progress to stakeholders
