Position Description
We are seeking an accomplished Cameo Engineer with expertise in developing system diagrams and architecture models using Systems Modeling Language (SYSML). The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing and implementing complex systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.

This position is located in one of CGI Federal's offices in Fairfax, VA, Lebanon, VA, Lafayette, LA or Knoxville, TN; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to work in a CGI Federal office two days per week.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Develop and maintain system architecture models and diagrams using SYSML DODAF methodologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring comprehensive system design
• Create detailed documentation and specifications to support system development and integration
• Conduct system analysis and trade studies to evaluate design alternatives and optimize performance
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and best practices in system architecture and design
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the system development lifecycle
• Participate in design reviews, providing insights and recommendations to enhance system architecture
• Continuously improve processes and methodologies to enhance system design and development efficiency

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in developing system diagrams and architecture models using SYSML and DODAF.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and practices.
• Proficiency in MagicDraw (Cameo) modeling tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex systems and design solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Experience in the defense or homeland security industry or related sectors is preferred.
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices.

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
• Experience in designing and interfaces systems with U.S Federal agencies
• SAP or SAP S/4HANA Experience
• Implementation experience with ERP COTS-based systems

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $214,800.00.
