Salary:

We are seeking an Senior Application Architect join our team of committed technical professionals to lead and design for a complex DoD Logistic Application at Fort Belvior, VA . DoD Top Secret clearance is required to start , must be eligible to obtain SCI-level adjudication.

You will work with a high-achieving team to design and deliver high-quality technical solutions. You will be responsible for maintaining functional and technical knowledge of mission systems for the organization, with a focus on leveraging technology to support business needs. You will identify technical issues and opportunities for efficiency and provide technical insights through system design and configuration perspectives. This role is both challenging and rewarding.

How you will make a difference:

-Provides application design to gather and analyze application requirements and designing application solutions to meet the prioritized business requirements.

- Incorporating new capabilities and modifying existing software to support existing and new interfaces in accordance with the Software Development Plan Documenting proposed

strategies, business case(s) and identifying and evaluating anticipated risks.

- Identifying alternative business cases and perform analysis of alternatives to recommend best alternatives for implementation

- Planning and leading sessions with users to examine current business process goals, objectives, structures, workflows, systems and roles for the purpose of executing a ground-up redesign of business practices, if required, to achieve functional process streamlining and improvement, as well as the goal of requirements determination and identification and long-term, full-scale integration for software implementation

- Planning and leading meetings with users to demonstrate the design meets all established requirements with acceptable risk and within schedule constraints and establishes the basis for proceeding with the detailed design

- Providing engineering and technical interoperability analysis of Commercial of the Shelf(COTS) test system capabilities and performance

- Providing detailed database designs to include, but not limited to, data and process models, program specifications, control specifications, physical structure charts, module definitions, compile or build units, and data usage definitions

- Providing technical support in the delivery and installation of new software versions associated with mission application requirements

- Identifying ways to streamline and integrate activities to achieve short term and long term improvements to stockpile tracking and management systems

- Performing upgrades and enhancements to meet user/program needs, policy changes or hardware/software considerations'

Qualifications:

• 7+ years developing Object-Oriented C#, JAVA web applications and understanding of Application Development best practices including setup, configuration and hardening.
• 7+ years with front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX)
• 7+ years MS SQL and Oracle development experience with queries, stored procedures,triggers, tuning anddatabase design,etc. Comfortable using source control, SVN or Git.
• Must be a quick learner able to dig into old code, understand how it currently works, identify the possible solutions and discuss with client if necessary.
• Strong attention to detail, strong written and verbal skills Creating software that is intuitive and easy to use.
• Able to work with client to review business requirements and solutions
• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Able to obtain IAT Level II within 6 months of contract start
