Over the years, we have grown from a tiny interiors firm with just seven workers in the 80s to an award-winning general contracting organization that specializes in base building, retail, restaurant, tenant interiors, building renovations, and design-build contracts. We continue to broaden our geographic reach with offices in Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, Denver, Houston, and Salt Lake City, as well as our headquarters in Virginia which serves the Washington, D.C. Metro Area. Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to oversee and drive various construction projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing commercial construction projects, focusing on ground-up developments and tenant improvements for a variety of commercial projects. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications and requirements are met.
- Develop project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Conduct regular site meetings to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise.
- Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Proven experience in managing commercial construction projects, including ground-up and tenant improvements (e.g. offices, retail, restaurants, etc.)
- Strong understanding of construction procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
