We are looking to hire a Closing Baker to join our Carolina Cupcakery Bakery Team for this wedding and busy summer season. We are a small bakery but we keep busy. Fast paced and non-stop at times. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Closing Baker
- Prepare frostings and batters.
- Bake menu items as needed for orders and store.
- Manage leftover menu items according to date and time baked.
- Record inventory.
- Wash, sanitize and dry all baking supplies.
- Wipe and sanitize all work stations.
- Take out trash.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Record temperatures in freezers and refrigerators.
- Turn off all ovens and mixers.
- POS closing procedures.
- Secure the bakery.
Requirements
- 1-3 yrs in a bakery setting
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Customer service, front desk and answering phones are not required but is a plus.
- Must have reliable transportation.

* PTO or Comp Time starts accruing after 2 yrs of employment
* Possible seasonal or PT to FT positions
* References a plus.
