Job Overview:
The Application Developer performs high-complexity analysis, design, development, and unit testing of software applications based on user requirements and design documents. The candidate is also responsible for resolving defects encountered during various testing cycles.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, develop, and test system-level applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Resolve defects identified during testing cycles to ensure application quality.
• Employ current programming languages to address business needs effectively.
• Maintain and enhance application server, database server, and system architecture.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Solid knowledge of programming languages such as J2EE, Java, EJB, ASP, PowerBuilder, C, C++, SQL, CGI, Windows, NT, Visual Basic, Oracle, Sybase, MQ Series.
• Strong understanding of application server, database server, and system architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Professional certifications are desired.
• 5-10 years of software development experience across relevant platforms.
• Solid IT background and experience.
• Experience as an application developer for projects of similar scope and responsibility.

Pay Range: $60 - $67/hour on W2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
