Marine Party Chief Surveyor (Heavy Civil Construction Project)

Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technical services ( . We are currently looking for a Marine Party Chief Surveyor to join our team for a construction project in Norfolk, Virginia.

-Project:   tunnel/ highway/bridge/structure

-Estimated duration of the position: 1 year - In general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give him/her continuity.

-Responsibilities:

• Stakeout points on site.
• Monitoring.
• Data Collection.
• Leveling.
• Inspect and supervise job operations and may be exposed to ongoing construction.
• Ability to physically access all areas of a jobsite, lift weights to fifty [50] pounds, work in confined spaces and at heights may be required for the position.

-Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as an office and field Surveyor, with experience in high precision setting out/checking works in marine/highway/tunnel/ railway/linear works/ heavy civil construction projects or similar.
• Specific Software User.
• Total Station, Level and GPS expertise user.

-Working hours: Monday to Friday, 12 hours. There is the possibility of working some Saturdays.
