Satellite and Space Technology Satellite Manufacturing & Acquisition System Engineering Space-based Sensing Space Domain Awareness Technologies and Capabilities Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) Orbital Mechanics Electric Propulsion Communications Materials Environmental Effects Ground Support Systems and Operations Satellite Assembly, Integration and Test Launch Services and Launch Vehicle Integration Mission Planning Mission Management Computer Vision Optics Modeling You will work alongside coworkers at the forefront of innovative technology development and demonstration programs in multiple areas, including hypersonics, Unmanned Air Vehicle and Autonomous Systems, advanced sensors, propulsion, munitions, fix wing and rotorcraft aircraft and space science systems. You will provide technical support in monitoring the execution of advanced technology development and prototype demonstration programs, perform independent technical assessments and feasibility analyses of new technologies and system designs, and monitor system field testing and demonstrations. Up to 25% travel may be required. We will work side by side with you as you learn the DARPA culture, supporting technical interchange meetings and design reviews, support new program concepts, provide program management and acquisition support, and author program reports. Minimum Qualifications: We are looking for candidates with BS plus 20 years of experience, MS and 10 years of experience or a PhD and 5 years of experience Experience in relevant Space Systems development programs Managed and lead small IPT and employees requiring annual salary reviews Top Secret Clearance required Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top Secret clearance Ability to work in a dynamic team environment Excellent oral and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications
