What Youll Do: Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex structural design and inspection projects involving bridges, ancillary transportation structures, piers, wharves, and bulkheads .

• Provide expert-level engineering consultation to project teams and clients to ensure full compliance with codes, specifications, and design standards.

• Manage and resolve field and design challenges in real-time.

• Conduct and oversee detailed project planning, scheduling, and technical phases.

• Supervise and mentor engineering staff, ensuring timely project delivery and quality control.

• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and published articles to support business development.

• Represent the firm at client meetings and industry events (some travel required).

• Maintain a strong safety-first mindset and ensure team compliance with health and safety practices.

• Engage with technical societies and contribute to thought leadership within the industry.

What You Bring: Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.

• 10+ years of progressive experience in structural engineering, with an emphasis on bridge design, inspections, or marine structures .

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) and/or Structural Engineer (S.E.) license is required.

• Demonstrated expertise in structural inspections and computations using industry-standard software.

• Previous experience managing both field and office-based projects.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a track record of mentoring junior engineers.
