Requirements

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in backend technologies and database management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Java 8 and above , MongoDB , SQL , Spring Boot , and Microservices architecture . PySpark experience is a nice to have but not mandatory.

This is an onsite-only position at McLean, VA , and relocation on Day 1 is required if the candidate is not already local to the area. Vendors are responsible for ensuring candidates relocate as committed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications.
  

• Build and maintain Microservices using Spring Boot.
  

• Work extensively with MongoDB for data storage, retrieval, and management.
  

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries.
  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
  

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
  

• Support application performance tuning and troubleshooting.
  

• If applicable, contribute to data processing workflows using PySpark.
  

Mandatory Skills:

• Java (Java 8 and above)
  

• MongoDB
  

• SQL
  

• Spring Boot & Microservices Architecture
  

Preferred (Nice to Have) Skills:

• PySpark: Experience with data processing pipelines.
  

Candidate Requirements:

• Senior Level Only: Minimum 7+ years of relevant IT experience.
  

• Relocation:
  

  • Must relocate to McLean, VA Day 1 if not local.
    

• Local Candidates Preferred:
  

  • Candidates from Virginia (VA) , Maryland (MD) , or Washington, DC (DC) are highly preferred.
    

• Work Environment:
  

  • 100% Onsite mandatory – No remote or hybrid options.

1. Round 1: Java coding test
   

2. Round 2: 30-minute technical video interview
   

3. Round 3: Final client interview
