Water Resources Engineer – Washington, DC
Join a respected engineering consulting firm that is expanding its water resources team! This is an outstanding opportunity to work on high-profile stormwater, drainage, watershed, and flood control projects throughout the Washington, DC region while building your career with an established organization.
Responsibilities:
- Design stormwater management and drainage systems.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and modeling.
- Prepare erosion and sediment control plans.
- Assist with watershed studies, floodplain mapping, and permitting.
- Coordinate with clients, agencies, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Prepare engineering reports, construction plans, and technical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- 3+ years of water resources engineering experience.
- Experience with hydrology and hydraulic modeling software.
- Knowledge of local and state stormwater regulations.
- EIT or PE license preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or hold a Green Card.
