Required Skills and Experience of the Expert Systems Engineer

• US Citizenship
• US Government issued Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance
• Master's degree in Engineering with 18+ Exp. in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, physics, mathematics
  OR
  PhD degree in Engineering with 10+ Exp. in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, physics, mathematics
• Demonstrated experience with the following:
  • Integrated Protection Strategy (IPS)
  • Space situational awareness, space-based sensors, and threat analysis
  • Dealing with data and data sources that exist at multiple security domains
  • external threats against sensitive operations
  • Physics Models, Assessment of Conservative/Non-conservative forces, uncertainty/confidence estimation, space weather effects, break-up events, and conjunction analysis techniques
  • Space Object Measurement and Identification
  • Supporting MP or AF SPO, CAP/SAP architecture
  • Model-based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages (DODAF, System Architect, Cameo, Rational, SysML etc)
