Required Skills and Experience of the Expert Systems Engineer
- US Citizenship
- US Government issued Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance
- Master's degree in Engineering with 18+ Exp. in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, physics, mathematics
OR
PhD degree in Engineering with 10+ Exp. in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, physics, mathematics - Demonstrated experience with the following:
- Integrated Protection Strategy (IPS)
- Space situational awareness, space-based sensors, and threat analysis
- Dealing with data and data sources that exist at multiple security domains
- external threats against sensitive operations
- Physics Models, Assessment of Conservative/Non-conservative forces, uncertainty/confidence estimation, space weather effects, break-up events, and conjunction analysis techniques
- Space Object Measurement and Identification
- Supporting MP or AF SPO, CAP/SAP architecture
- Model-based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages (DODAF, System Architect, Cameo, Rational, SysML etc)
