Diesel Mechanic - Fleet Technician A
Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician A to repair and maintain the tractor and trailer equipment at our Reyes Beverage Group shop in Richmond, VA.
Shift: Full-Time l 10:00AM - 6:30PM Monday-Friday
Pay : $30.00 - $35.00/hr, depending upon experience/qualifications

Position Responsibilities:
- The Fleet Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of fleet diesel equipment, as well as the diagnostics and rebuilding of clutches and brake systems
- As a Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders related to repairs and preventative maintenance using the online AssetWorks system
- You will operate a company vehicle to diagnose and repair equipment as part of roadside service calls
- You will ensure that equipment has the required licensing and registration before being deemed "roadworthy"
- You will install, replace, and repair onboard computers (XRS or XataNet) and/or cameras (DriveCam)
- You will work in accordance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations to ensure safety
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3 plus years of related experience
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds
- Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Technical School Certification
