What You'll Do
- Perform quality control tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
- Inspect products for defects, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
- Document and maintain accurate test results, inspection reports, and production records.
- Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures and standards.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Report non-conformances and recommend corrective actions to management.
- Maintain testing equipment, tools, and areas.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and safety programs.
What You'll Need
- Understanding of concrete materials, testing methods, and quality standards.
- Ability to perform precise measurements and inspections.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards (ACI, ASTM, and state/federal regulations).
- Proficiency in documentation, recordkeeping, and basic computer use.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues related to quality and provide solutions.
Your Education
- High school diploma or GED required; relevant technical or vocational training preferred.
