Position Summary:
Responsible for ensuring assigned production lines operate efficiently while meeting established performance, quality, and safety standards. This role coordinates closely with material handling, heavy equipment operators, and maintenance to maintain consistent production flow and product quality.
Schedule: 7am-4pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain production line performance to meet quality and quantity standards
- Coordinate with heavy equipment operators to ensure shakers are filled and material flow is uninterrupted
- Communicate with material handlers regarding material selection for each machine
- Ensure correct roll stock is selected and properly loaded onto machines
- Perform machine adjustments as needed to maintain product quality and production output
- Conduct routine quality checks, including weight and volume inspections
- Monitor material moisture levels and communicate adjustments or material changes as needed
- Perform housekeeping duties, including sweeping and removing material buildup under conveyors and in aisleways
- Follow all safety procedures to prevent injuries and maintain a clean work environment
- Complete production documentation accurately, thoroughly, and on time
- Notify maintenance personnel promptly of any equipment issues or operational concerns
- Assist with inventory tracking and material management as required
