Terminal & Landside Operations Officer

Full Time

Richmond International Airport

Pay Range: $42,220.08 - $52,775.11

The Commission directs the growth, operation and business activities of RIC and works tirelessly to ensure it continues to be an affordable option for local, regional, and out-of-state travelers. 

Description of Responsibilities: Monitoring, inspecting and reporting on day-to-day terminal & landside operations to include Airport grounds, Airport and terminal access, parking, terminal curbside function, airline ticketing, rental car facilities, passenger security screening, concession and retail establishments, restrooms and other passenger amenities. Identify and address deficiencies in customer experience, proposing and proactively implementing solutions to improve satisfaction.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, guest services, a related field, or gained through the equivalent work experience. Two (2) years of the appropriate type and level of experience will serve as an equivalency to one (1) year of education. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, eight (8) years of relevant experience can be substituted.
• Two or more (3+) years of experience in airport operations, or customer experience.

Required Skills:

• Possess a working knowledge of systems related airport operations, customer experience, and emergency management.
