Window Patching & Converting Technician

Your day, building beautiful packaging

You clock in, review the job ticket, and ready the line. One order calls for clean window patches, another for precise die cutting and folding. You dial in the setup, confirm registration, and verify adhesive application. As production ramps, you keep an eye on tolerances, make swift adjustments, and collaborate with Quality and Maintenance to keep the run smooth, safe, and efficient.

By the end of the shift, your records are complete—production counts, waste and downtime tracked, materials reconciled—and the cartons look exactly as the customer imagined.

What you’ll run and how you’ll contribute

• Set up, adjust, and operate converting equipment: die cutters, window patchers, slitters, folders, gluers, and laminators.
• Read and interpret job tickets, specifications, and production schedules to plan each run.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout production, maintaining registration and adhesive accuracy.
• Perform routine cleaning, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Inspect finished goods for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Accurately log production data, waste, downtime, and material usage.
• Follow all safety procedures, GMPs, and company policies at every step.
• Partner with supervisors, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Train and assist helper/operators as assigned.

What you bring

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• 1–3 years operating converting or packaging equipment (preferred).
• Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read measuring devices and production specs.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
• Comfort standing for long periods and lifting materials as needed.
• Basic math and documentation accuracy.
