Infant/ Toddler Lead

Summary

LeafSpring School at Virginia Beach is a NAEYC Accredited and Virginia Licensed Nursery and Preschool.
We are looking for fun and energetic individuals to join our Nursery and Preschool team. We are currently looking for the following team members to start immediately.

Infant Room Lead (6 weeks - 18 months old)
Toddler Room Lead (2 years old)

BOTH are full-time positions. Must be available to work shifts that are from Monday-Friday from 6:30 am - 6:30 pm.
You will be working with a team of anywhere from 2-8 people. If you have a lot of energy, enjoy working with kids, or are looking for experience working in an accredited program, please respond to this posting with your resume.

Duties

Applicants must be willing to have a primary care group and foster and nurture a strong relationship with children.
Applicants must be able to facilitate age-appropriate learning, providing the opportunity to learn about the world using various learning domains.
Applicants must be able to carry out lesson plans tailored to each child's development, ensuring rapidly changing and developing infants are constantly challenged.
Applicants must be willing to work side by side with co-teachers and maintain a positive work environment.
Applicants must also be able to adhere to LeafSpring School's policies and procedures.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old and have at least 2 years child care experience and a passion of working with children
Early Childhood Education Certificate or related degree
