Rate of Pay : $25.00 per hour (No per diem available)

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates for the Insulator position must meet the following qualifications:

• Calcium Silicate Insulation Experience : Must have prior experience working with calcium silicate insulation, including fabrication and installation.
• Ability to read and interpret insulation drawings.
• Skilled in installing insulation on various systems such as pipe flanges, valves, ventilation, and engine exhaust systems.
• Familiarity with different insulation materials, including sheet rubber and fiberglass, and their application in steam and chilled water systems.
• Capability to design, fabricate, and install lagging pads.
• Proficiency in fabricating miters from calcium silicate and installing with accuracy.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and ability to follow safety protocols rigorously.
• Physical capability to handle tools and materials and to work in varied environments.

Personal Protective Equipment Required :

• Hard Hat
• Steel Toe Safety Boots
• Safety Glasses
• Gloves

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Installing and securing insulation materials on piping, ventilation systems, and exhaust systems following detailed drawings and specifications.
• Designing and fabricating lagging pads and miters from insulation materials.
• Working safely and efficiently to complete tasks in a timely manner, adhering to OSHA and site-specific safety protocols.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure quality and precision in insulation application.
