Senior Director II, Telehealth Services
- Analyze user needs to determine functional requirements, define problems, and develop plans and requirements for complex systems related to telehealth.
- Provide expert guidance on information systems architecture, networking, telecommunications, automation, communications, risk management, electronic analysis, software/hardware, lifecycle management, and software development methodologies.
- Advise on the application of cloud systems and healthcare IT systems in the context of telehealth.
- Lead and contribute to the development and implementation of innovative telehealth solutions.
- Facilitate training and knowledge sharing sessions, disseminating expertise in telehealth technologies and best practices.
- Provide expert input on business processes, modeling, and simulation related to telehealth.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, articulating complex technical concepts and solutions in a clear and concise manner.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, customers, end users, other contractors to ensure projects are progressing and issues are resolved.
- Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders, customers, and other contractors to ensure project success.
- Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in telehealth and advise on their potential impact and opportunities.
- Master's Degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, medical, or a related field.
- A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in leadership and/or telehealth, including experience in information systems architecture, networking, telecommunications, automation, communications, risk management/electronic analysis, software/hardware, lifecycle management, software development methodologies, and cloud systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in managing, leading, or advising enterprises.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and other relevant software tools.
- Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs or similar healthcare organizations.
- Familiarity with VA systems, processes, and regulations.
- Experience in MS SharePoint and MS Power Platform.
- Have experience in supporting cross-functional teams.
