NextGen Federal Systems is seeking an experienced and mission-focused Project Manager to support our Intelligence Community (IC) customer in Charlottesville, VA. The selected candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for government leadership and provide comprehensive project management support in accordance with contract requirements.
Responsibilities- Serve as the single point of contact for the Government Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and Contracting Officer (CO)
- Maintain regular communication with the COR and provide access to all required project documentation and reports in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW)
- Prepare, manage, and submit required contract deliverables (CDRL A001–A006)
- Monitor contractor personnel performance and coordinate with the COR to ensure established objectives and mission goals are achieved
- Coordinate services and activities in support of the Advanced Technologies Intelligence Office (ATI)
- Manage and coordinate the routing of purchase requests for government review and approval
- Provide updates to ATI leadership on material life cycle management activities, including procurement, inventory maintenance, sustainment, and upgrades
- Ensure all activities are executed in accordance with applicable directives and guidance provided by the customer
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing programs and leading projects of similar scope and complexity
- Bachelor’s degree required; 8 years of experience managing programs and leading projects of similar size and complexity may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- Demonstrated experience serving as a primary liaison between contractor personnel and government leadership
- Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment
- Experience preparing formal reports and contract deliverables
- Active TS/SCI clearance required
- Experience supporting Intelligence Community organizations highly desired
- Familiarity with contract deliverable requirements and CDRL management
- Experience supporting material life cycle management activities
