We are offering a great opportunity for a Temporary Administrative Support Specialist (2-3 week assignment) for our Community and Crisis Department. Hours are Monday - Thursday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This is not a benefited position.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing the support function of Mental Health Outpatient Services by performing receptionist duties, reimbursement functions, maintaining files and records, and verifying insurance for mental health and substance use clients.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma of general education development (GED).

One (1) year position related experience in data entry and office administrative support.

Valid Drivers License with a point balance of -6 or higher.

Preferred Education and Experience

Three (3) years position related experience in data entry and office administrative support.

Experience in a behavioral health environment.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of office practices, procedures, and office equipment and technology in a medical or MH/SA setting; reimbursement policies, procedures, and regulations related to the supported activity; manual and automated filing systems; standard grammar; punctuation and usage.

Skills in written, oral and interpersonal communications.

Demonstrated professionalism in telephone etiquette.

Ability to order office equipment.

Demonstrated proficiency in keyboarding and in operating automated office equipment to include applying computer applications involving data entry; data manipulation verification and retrieval.

Ability to accurately maintain a reimbursement/fee collection system, bookkeeping and filing.

Ability to organize work and make independent work processing decisions and to work on several concurrent tasks with frequent interruptions.

May be required to travel within the Greater Reach CSB catchment area.

Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry report will be required upon selection.Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.
