Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Level 1 Trauma Falls Church, VA, United States Job Identification: 686316 Posting Date: 07/23/2026, 08:35 PM Job Schedule: Locations: Inova Fairfax Hospital Job Description: Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for an experienced Emergency Nurse for Northern Virginia's only Level 1 Trauma Center! Eligible Nurses will qualify for sign on & relocation bonuses. Full Time Early Mid Shifts (start times are 10am & 11am); Three 12-hour shifts. With weekend, holiday and call rotations. Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities:

• Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.
• Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.
• Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes
• Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience: Requires a minimum of one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• License: Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
• Certification: BLS from American Heart Association
• Proficient in English.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others
• Proficient computer skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prefer minimum (2) years ED RN experience.
• CEN/ACLS certification desired
