Travel Cath Lab Tech Job Details
- Location: Richmond, VA 23225 (Virginia healthcare jobs)
- Facility: Hospital – Cardiac Cath/EP Lab
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (September 2, 2025 – December 2, 2025)
- Shift: 07:00 – 17:30 (10-hour days)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2450–$2510
- Employment Type: Travel contract, on-site position
- Dress Code: Hospital-issued scrubs
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist (2+ years preferred)
- Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology (EP) Lab required
- RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification required
- Proficiency with Philips (EP) and GE (Cath Lab) imaging systems
- Familiarity with MACLAB, CardioLab, and Meditech documentation systems
- Ability to excel in a high-acuity, high-volume, fast-paced clinical environment
- Scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating electrophysiology (EP) cases
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of Registered Nurses (RNs) and Cardiovascular Specialists
- Assisting with cardiac procedures including right/left-sided ablations, pacemaker and ICD implants, laser lead extractions, CCM implants, left atrial appendage closure devices, and hybrid ablations
- Ensuring accurate and timely documentation using hospital EMR systems
- Delivering excellent patient care and supporting positive patient experiences in the Cath Lab
