We are seeking a friendly and reliable cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a positive attitude. As a cashier, you will play a key role in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests by accurately handling transactions and ensuring their needs are met. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist with menu selections.
- Accurately process customer transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system, including cash, credit, and other forms of payment.
- Ensure all orders are entered correctly and delivered to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station and dining area.
- Assist with packing and handing off takeout and delivery orders.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally, escalating issues to the manager when necessary.
- Monitor inventory of front-end supplies, such as napkins, utensils, and sauces, and replenish as needed.
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of food and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
