Talent Acquisition Coordinator
Location: Lynchburg, Virginia
Type: Long-term Contract

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator provides operational support through the recruitment and hiring lifecycle. This role partners closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates to coordinate activities, interviews and meetings, provide support for systems and documentation, and ensure timely communication and follow-up. It’s a dynamic opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering a great candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews across multiple calendars, ensuring timely confirmations and clear communication with candidates, recruiters and hiring managers
- Manage complex scheduling logistics including interviews, travel arrangements and virtual platforms
- Support planning and execution of f recruiting events, job fairs, and university engagement activities
- Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Ensure timely communication, follow up and process adherence throughout the recruiting lifecycle
- Identify opportunities to streamline scheduling processes and improve candidate experience
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years or more of related work experience
- Demonstrated experience scheduling interviews across multiple calendars
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
