Job Summary – Water Truck Driver (Asphalt Paving)

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Water Truck Driver to support our asphalt paving operations. The Water Truck Driver is responsible for operating a water truck to control dust and moisture levels on construction and paving sites. This role plays a critical part in maintaining safe working conditions and supporting the paving crew during all phases of the project.

Job Title: Water Truck Diver

Reports To: Site Foreman

Location: Gainesville, VA

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate a water truck safely and efficiently on job sites

· Apply water to roads and construction areas to suppress dust and assist with compaction

· Monitor and maintain proper water levels and spray patterns

· Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and basic maintenance on the truck

· Communicate effectively with foremen and crew members

· Follow all safety regulations, traffic laws, and company procedures

· Work extended hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as needed

Qualifications:

· Valid CDL (Class B or A) with tanker endorsement and a clean driving record (required)

· Experience operating water trucks or similar equipment preferred

· Ability to work in outdoor conditions and around heavy equipment

· Strong work ethic and ability to function as part of a team

· Familiarity with asphalt or road construction sites is a plus
