Dining Room Supervisor - Austin Grill

Austin Grill is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to join our team. As a Dining Room Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and overseeing the front-of-house operations to create memorable dining experiences. • Supervise, coordinate, and mentor front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bussers, to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service.
• Ensure that guests have a memorable dining experience by actively engaging with them, addressing any concerns or requests promptly, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
• Monitor service quality, presentation, and adherence to restaurant standards, including cleanliness and hygiene.
• Assist in managing inventory levels for dining room supplies and coordinate with vendors for timely restocking.
• Gather and relay guest feedback to management for continuous improvement.
• Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant industry preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for providing exceptional service.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
• Basic computer skills for scheduling and reporting.
• Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and solve problems effectively.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and evenings as needed.
• Knowledge of food health and safety regulations.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30–40 lbs (chairs, tables, trays, service items)
• Frequent walking between dining areas, service stations, and kitchen
• Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and twisting during service and setup
• Visual and auditory acuity to monitor service quality, staff performance, and guest satisfaction
• Ability to navigate crowded dining spaces safely and efficiently
