Lead the Value Stream in Our New Transformer Plant

By 7:30 a.m. in South Boston, you’re walking the floor of our brand-new manufacturing site, greeting Production, Engineering, and Scheduling teams before the daily huddle. You review overnight KPIs for safety, quality, on-time delivery, inventory, and cost. A quick scan of the HSE dashboard, a note on supplier yield trends, and you’re off to the SEOP process review. This is a day in the life of the leader who owns the full manufacturing value stream for our transformer business.

Location & Mobility

South Boston, Virginia (full relocation offered).

What You’ll Drive

• End-to-end leadership of a local manufacturing unit, spanning Health, Safety & Environment, Production, Engineering, Project Management, and Production Scheduling.
• Continuous improvement grounded in the Integrated Transformer Management (ITM) System to boost productivity and reduce cost.
• SEOP process management to align demand, capacity, and schedules.
• A proactive safety culture: ensure compliance with Group HSE directives and applicable regulations; assess risks and hazards, implement prevention plans, and rigorously monitor/report results.
• Business performance plans to eliminate non–value-added costs, increase revenue, deliver on time, elevate factory and supplier yields, and reduce product field failure rates.
• ITM maturity development training and methods embedded into daily operations.
• Unquestionable ethics and exemplary conduct in every decision.

What You Bring

• Undergraduate degree in engineering/technical discipline; MBA preferred.
• Approximately 16+ years total experience, including 7+ years in leadership; transformer industry experience preferred.
• Proven strategic development capability.
• Operations leadership within a multi–Focused Factory structure.
• Demonstrated success leading in a lean management/operating system (or similar).
