Automotive Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist
Role Description:

As an AP/AR Specialist at Mirak Automotive Group, you will play a vital role in our dynamic accounting team. Responsibilities:
- Handle accounting tasks related to automotive operations
- In accordance with GAAP, manage financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Assist in month end and year end closing processes
- Collaborate with other departments to analyze financial data and provide insights
Key Functions:
- Account and schedule reconciliations
- Daily bank deposits and cash clearing
- Process payables and vendor reconciliations
- Assist with factory payable and receivable invoices and statements
- Monitor client receivables, record payments, and pursue overdue balances
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Prior experience in automotive industry is strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in software including MS Excel, DMS (Dealertrack), etc. is preferred
- Attention to detail and exceptional time management and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
