The Mane Oasis is seeking a talented, professional, and customer-focused Licensed Hair Stylist to join our growing salon team. This role is ideal for a stylist who is passionate about hair care, committed to delivering exceptional client experiences, and thrives in a fast-paced, upscale salon environment.
As a Licensed Hair Stylist at The Mane Oasis, you will provide a full range of hair services while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, sanitation, and customer service. You will build and maintain a loyal clientele, collaborate with fellow stylists, and contribute to a positive and welcoming salon culture. Key Responsibilities:- Provide professional hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, treatments, braiding, silk presses, and protective styles (based on skill set).
- Conduct thorough client consultations to assess hair needs and recommend appropriate services and products.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary workstation in compliance with state board regulations.
- Deliver excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Educate clients on proper hair care, maintenance, and product usage.
- Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and a positive attitude at all times.
- Work collaboratively with salon management and team members.
- Promote salon services, retail products, and personal brand through professionalism and social media (if applicable).
Qualifications:
- Active and valid state cosmetology license.
- Proven experience as a hair stylist preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Passion for hair health and continued education.
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented mindset.
