- Role: Personal Care Aide (PCA)
- Setting: Clients private home
- Client Needs: Assistance with all ADLs and IADLs
- Environment: Supportive household; client lives with family
- ADL Support bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, mobility, transfers
- IADL Support meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, errands
- Safety Monitoring fall prevention, cueing, standby assistance
- Companionship conversation, emotional support, engagement in daily routines
- Days: Monday through Sunday
- Hours: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Total Weekly Hours: 56 hours
- Schedule Flexibility may be required for occasional changes
- Provide personal care in a respectful, dignified manner
- Assist with mobility including transfers and ambulation
- Prepare meals following dietary needs
- Maintain a clean environment to ensure safety
- Document daily care per agency requirements
- Communicate changes in client condition to supervisors
- Active PCA/HHA/CNA certification
- CPR/First Aid preferred
- TB test or chest Xray within 12 months
- Background check clearance
- Reliable transportation to and from the clients home
