We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Assistant Manager to support our event marketing and fundraising team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build leadership skills while gaining hands-on experience in event marketing, brand promotion, and nonprofit fundraising campaigns. The Assistant Manager will work closely with senior staff to execute marketing events, manage team members, and ensure successful fundraising outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing marketing events and fundraising campaigns
- Support day-to-day operations of event marketing teams, including scheduling and logistics
- Train and mentor new team members on campaign strategies and customer engagement techniques
- Represent clients and nonprofit partners at events, promoting brand awareness and fundraising initiatives
- Track campaign performance, collect data, and provide reports to management
- Ensure excellent customer and donor experiences through professional communication
- Help manage inventory, promotional materials, and event setup/breakdown
- Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for growth and improved efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership potential with a willingness to learn and take initiative
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Positive attitude and problem-solving mindset
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for events
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or event-related roles
- Interest in nonprofit work, fundraising, or community outreach
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and brand promotion
