Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Entry-Level Miscellaneous Metals Fabricator to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for individuals eager to start a hands-on career in metalworking. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, gaining valuable skills while contributing to the production of custom metal components used in commercial and industrial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in fabricating stairs, railings, ladders, platforms, and other miscellaneous metal components.
• Operate basic hand and power tools, including grinders, drills, and saws.
• Operate ironworker equipment to punch and shear metal parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
• Measure, cut, and assemble metal parts to specification.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Support senior fabricators and welders with daily tasks.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic understanding of hand tools and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Previous experience in metalworking or construction is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with welding (training provided).
• Forklift or overhead crane experience.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification (or willingness to obtain).
