Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist
LTS is on the lookout for a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. In this entry-level role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the timely and accurate collection of payments from our customers. As a key player in our accounts receivable process, you will be responsible for managing customer invoices, tracking payment status, and following up on outstanding balances. Your keen attention to detail and organizational skills will be vital in ensuring that all financial records are maintained accurately and up to date. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with various departments to resolve payment issues and support our overall financial stability. Responsibilities
- Prepare and send out customer invoices in a timely manner.
- Monitor accounts for delays in payment and intervene as necessary.
- Process and record customer payments, ensuring accuracy in data entry.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure that all payments are accounted for.
- Assist in resolving customer discrepancies and queries related to invoices.
- Generate reports on accounts receivable status and assist in strategy development.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve collection procedures.
- Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounts receivable processes and financial principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
