Program Overview

About The Role

Peraton is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Application Systems and Integration Engineer to join our diverse team supporting the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) . This position is located in Lorton, VA. You will work closely with stakeholders, system owners, and security leadership to maintain and support CBP’s critical mission to protect our nation’s borders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop policies, procedures, and strategies governing the planning and delivery of application software services.
• Respond to customer technical inquiries in project manager absence.
• Guide troubleshooting efforts and provide feedback to project manager.
• Monitor production deployments for projects/releases.
• Coordinate the development of new and innovative methods for software design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Coordinate issue resolution, changes in project requirements, and escalate to leadership as appropriate.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree and 8 years of experience or a Masters degree and 6 years of experience or a High School diploma and 12 years of experience.
• US Citizen with the ability to pass a background check and obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Application system and integration testing and evaluation experience.
• Windows 11 configuration support.
• Cloud computing knowledge.
• End-user technical support.
• Technical writing skills.
• ServiceNow platform experience.
• Knowledge of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).

Preferred Qualifications :

• Systems Applications Products (SAP) data processing familiarity.
• Change management process experience.
• Mac Operating System support.
• BeyondTrust remote console support experience.
• Experience utilizing Atlassian's JIRA work management solution.
• ITIL v 3 or v4 certification.

Details

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
