GIS Developer

MUST:
Active Public Trust
Experienced Database GIS Developer
5 years of overall professional IT / GIS relevant experience
3 years of experience with spatial data management using ArcGIS and ArcPro
Road Inventory Program (RIP) Developer with GIS Skills
Relational database administration and development in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
Python scripting for ArcGIS geoprocessing and automation tasks
Deployment and administration of ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcSDE
Experience with Google Earth, KML/KMZ creation, and Linear Referencing
Must be client facing communication
Knowledge of Agile or similar project management methodologies
Certifications: GIS-related certifications preferred (e.g., ESRI, Oracle)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, GIS, or related field

DUTIES:
Maintain and manage large datasets in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server. Build and maintain geodatabases using ArcGIS tools and develop scripts to streamline RIP workflows.
Create, update, and manage data quality protocols for both tabular and spatial datasets.
Support field data integration from mobile and vehicle-based sources into Oracle.
Develop, test, and deploy custom GIS applications, web tools, and reporting dashboards using Crystal Reports and Power BI.
Ensure database and system security, backup, and recovery processes are in line with FHWA requirements.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, actionable data for roadway inventory and pavement management.
Provide user support, documentation, and change tracking for all database and script modifications.
