Associate Site Reliability Engineer (6055)
As Associate Site Reliability Engineer , you’ll support the performance, reliability, and security of enterprise infrastructure across development and production environments. This entry-level role focuses on automation, monitoring, and incident response in a secure, mission-critical setting. What you’ll do:
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining infrastructure performance and availability across development and production environments.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automation for system monitoring, patching, and recovery.
- Troubleshoot service disruptions and assist with root cause analysis and resolution.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and cybersecurity teams to support secure and scalable system operations.
- Document system events, changes, and performance metrics in accordance with operational standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 0–2 years of experience in systems engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Ansible).
- Basic scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Exposure to cloud and virtualization technologies (e.g., AWS, OCI, VMware).
- Understanding of system monitoring, alerting, and log analysis tools.
Knowledge of backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures.
SALARY RANGE: $73,000 - $104,000
The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:
- The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
- The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
- Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
- This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:
- Performance-based bonuses
- Company-paid training and/or certifications
- Referral bonuses
