- Deliver high-level administrative and operational support to branch leadership by managing complex schedules, prioritizing strategic initiatives, and ensuring the seamless execution of mission-critical tasks.
- Serve as a strategic liaison between branch leadership, division heads, and external stakeholders, fostering cross-functional collaboration and maintaining alignment with organizational priorities.
- Lead the evaluation and enhancement of branch-level business processes, identifying and implementing opportunities for increased efficiency, effectiveness, and operational excellence.
- Oversee the preparation and management of executive documentation, including reports, briefings, and decision-support materials, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Coordinate executive-level functions such as internal and external communications, stakeholder engagement, and workflow prioritization to support leadership effectiveness.
- Support the planning and execution of key events, including meetings, workshops, conferences, and working group sessions, ensuring logistical precision and strategic alignment.
- Location: On-site (Reston, VA)
- Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
- Working Hours: Standard - Core hours 0900 - 1500
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management or a related field.
- Proven experience in an executive support or business operations role within a Department of War environment.
- Experience supporting senior leaders or executives in a high-level business capacity.
- Experience utilizing business intelligence tools and process optimization software to improve operational efficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for developing reports, briefings, and presentations.
- Exceptional problem-solving ability, critical thinking, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Be highly organized, proactive, and adaptable to leadership styles.
- An active Top Secret with SCI eligibility
- SAP Eligibility
- Demonstrated proficiency in Atlassian tools, including JIRA for agile project tracking and issue management, and Confluence for collaborative documentation and knowledge sharing; experienced in integrating both platforms to streamline workflows, enhance team communication, and support cross-functional project execution.
- Knowledge of the Department of War (DoW) acquisition lifecycle, including planning, execution, and oversight.
- Proven ability to work with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives.
